Welcome, aficionado of art, authentic connection and unconventional pleasure– we’re the distinctive collective you’ve been waiting for. A cadre of kinksters, fetishists and lovers of the perverse, we aim to bring to the New York City kink community the same disruptive ethos that Katherine Dreier, Man Ray, and Marcel Duchamps brought to the world in 1920 with their organization of the same name. Just as their “société” challenged traditional norms of the art world by rejecting convention and encouraging experimentation, we too aim to be a place for you to find community among other disruptors and explore subversive expressions of desire.

Badenov
Professional photographer and handler of biz operations and memberships. Also curates and designs our zine. Find him at our events in the DJ booth.
Beatrix
Beatrix is an artist, photographer, and all-around sarcastic menace. Curates imagery, manages social content, and corrals volunteers.
Violet
Artist, copywriter, design fanatic, and professional dominatrix. Responsible for creative conceptualization, performance curation and member experience.
Member Expectations
Consent Is Mandatory
Consent is foundational for people to be able to explore their desires in a positive environment. It is absolutely mandatory to obtain consent before engaging in any kind of scenes or physical contact at our events, and consent violations of any kind will result in immediate removal from our events, and in most cases, permanent revocation of membership.
Wear Your Pins
Each of our members receives a small gold and black lapel pin with the Société Anonyme "eye". Upon entry of your first event, please be sure to tell the door person that you're a new member. They will give you your pin.
Pins must be worn, or at least carried with you, to every event. Our upstairs door person will ask to see it. It's your key to access. If you forget your pin you may be subject to a small punishment of our door person's choosing. Lost pins can be replaced once. Subsequent loss may result in a change in membership status.
Build The Community
We are a private community where access is granted through personal referrals. If you're reading this, someone trusted you enough to invite you. Now, it's your chance to invite someone else.
When you refer someone, you are responsible for guiding them and making sure they positively contribute to our community. If they behave inappropriately, act aggressively, get too intoxicated, or disrespect our values, you may be asked to help address the situation, and your own membership could be reviewed.
Our application process is the same for everyone. We do not discriminate based on age, race, sexual orientation, appearance, or identity. All personal information collected during the application process is securely stored and only accessible to our three founders.
Participation Is Sexy
Participation shows confidence and enthusiasm. By engaging with the group, whether it's contributing to our zine or offering to perform at one of our events, you bring energy and fresh ideas. This involvement makes our community more vibrant and shows you're invested in the experience and open to new things. It makes you an attractive and valuable member of Société Anonyme.
